TAMAN RIMBA (RECREATION PARK)

Located just about 2 minutes walk from Royale Chulan Seremban, Seremban Municipal Council has formed this 10 acre Taman Rimba rain forest which has tall trees of over 100 years old. There are a variety of activities for the visitors to do, simultaneously being directly connected with nature. Some of the facilities provided in Taman Rimba Seremban are stone chalet, wooden chalet, utility building, camp site, BBQ pit, open stage, surau, ferns garden, children playground, reflexology path, etc.

INTRODUCTION TO GALERI DIRAJA TUANKU JA’AFAR

Located nearby Taman Tasik Seremban, Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus. It is only a 5-minute walk from Royale Chulan Seremban. The building with an area of approximately 44 thousand square feet is a gallery which was developed to revive the memories of the late King Tuanku Ja’afar ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman. He wanted to build a gallery that portrayed the uniqueness of Negeri Sembilan’s roots, the past royal rulers, and his life journey as a king ruling Negeri Sembilan for 42 years.

STATE MOSQUE

This mosque was built with nine pillars to symbolise the nine districts in Negeri Sembilan. From here, one can enjoy a scenic view of the Seremban Lake and the gardens surrounding it.

CHURCH OF THE VISITATION

This is a very old church built in 1848. The façade looks exactly as before, it is beautifully kept and very well ventilated. With stained glass, old wooden pews and modern sanctuary, it is an amazing place to visit.

CULTURAL HANDICRAFT COMPLEX

Visit this complex, to view a building modelled like a traditional Minangkabau dwelling. Various examples of the state’s handicraft and historical artefacts are on display in this complex which preserves Negeri Sembilan’s rich cultural traditions.

STATE MUSEUM

Located within the grounds of the Cultural Handicraft Complex, the museum is an old wooden palace which has been reconstructed. On display are artefacts like weapons, brass and a tableau portraying a grand royal wedding.
